# Traverous vs iOverlander

The clearest difference is rating: Traverous at 5.0 against iOverlander's 4.3. Traverous also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). iOverlander's advantage is ratings volume (7.7K vs 5) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Traverous sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and iOverlander sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Traverous holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iOverlander has 7.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Traverous ships an update every 2 weeks, iOverlander fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
