# Luxer One vs Live Comstock

The clearest difference is rating: Luxer One at 4.7 against Live Comstock's 4.2. Luxer One also leads on ratings volume (32K vs 31) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). Live Comstock's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 11%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Luxer One holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luxer One has 32K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Luxer One's written reviews are positive against 40% of Live Comstock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Luxer One ships an update every 2 months, Live Comstock every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
