# Btmoon vs The Giving Movement

The clearest difference is rating: The Giving Movement at 4.7 against Btmoon's 3.9. The Giving Movement also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (666 vs 22). Btmoon's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Giving Movement holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Giving Movement has 666 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Btmoon's written reviews are positive against 33% of The Giving Movement's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Btmoon ships an update every 2 months, The Giving Movement every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
