# GENEX Beef vs GAP TRACKING

The clearest difference is update cadence: GAP TRACKING at every 2 weeks against GENEX Beef's every 4 months. GAP TRACKING also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GENEX Beef ships an update every 4 months, GAP TRACKING every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
