# Porter Setup vs Kodak Luma

The clearest difference is rating: Kodak Luma at 4.1 against Porter Setup's 1.9. Kodak Luma also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 21) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Porter Setup's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 11%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kodak Luma holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kodak Luma has 2K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of Porter Setup's written reviews are positive against 11% of Kodak Luma's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
