# Brilliant Smart vs Winergy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brilliant Smart at 52% against Winergy's 25%. Brilliant Smart also leads on ratings volume (177 vs 3). Winergy's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Winergy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brilliant Smart has 177 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Brilliant Smart's written reviews are positive against 25% of Winergy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brilliant Smart ships an update every 3 months, Winergy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
