# Dott vs KeyNest Agent

Dott and KeyNest Agent both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of KeyNest Agent's written reviews are positive against 30% of Dott's. KeyNest Agent also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Dott's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (9.4K vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KeyNest Agent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dott has 9.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of Dott's written reviews are positive against 75% of KeyNest Agent's.

Dott ships an update weekly, KeyNest Agent every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
