# HeatNext vs Timers

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Timers at none against HeatNext's 4. Timers also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). HeatNext's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeatNext sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Timers asks for nothing beyond the download.

HeatNext ships an update every 2 months, Timers every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
