# HeatNext vs Photo Widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: Photo Widget at every 2 days against HeatNext's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeatNext sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Photo Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HeatNext ships an update every 2 months, Photo Widget every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
