# AirMesh vs SyncOnSet 5.0

The clearest difference is rating: AirMesh at 3.0 against SyncOnSet 5.0's 1.7. SyncOnSet 5.0's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 47 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirMesh sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SyncOnSet 5.0 asks for nothing beyond the download.

AirMesh holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SyncOnSet 5.0 has 61 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of AirMesh's written reviews are positive against 3% of SyncOnSet 5.0's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AirMesh ships an update every 47 months, SyncOnSet 5.0 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
