# FPV vs PaperLog

The clearest difference is rating: PaperLog at 5.0 against FPV's 2.1. FPV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (26 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PaperLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FPV asks for nothing beyond the download.

PaperLog holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FPV has 26 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FPV ships an update every 3 weeks, PaperLog fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
