# Third Space vs ATHLO

The clearest difference is rating: Third Space at 4.8 against ATHLO's 1.0. Third Space also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ATHLO's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Third Space holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Third Space has 109 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Third Space's written reviews are positive against 83% of ATHLO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Third Space ships an update every 2 weeks, ATHLO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
