# ArtMap vs SenseNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: SenseNote at every 6 days against ArtMap's every 6 months. ArtMap's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArtMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SenseNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArtMap ships an update every 6 months, SenseNote every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
