# ArtMap vs NanoPlayer

The clearest difference is update cadence: NanoPlayer at every 3 days against ArtMap's every 6 months. ArtMap's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArtMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NanoPlayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArtMap ships an update every 6 months, NanoPlayer every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
