# nEvents vs NOVA

The clearest difference is rating: nEvents at 5.0 against NOVA's 4.3. nEvents also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). NOVA's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 53 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. nEvents asks for nothing beyond the download.

nEvents holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

nEvents ships an update every 53 months, NOVA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
