# FaceCall vs Palphone

FaceCall and Palphone both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of FaceCall's written reviews are positive against 18% of Palphone's. FaceCall also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 31). Palphone's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FaceCall sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Palphone asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for FaceCall against 4.6 for Palphone. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaceCall has 1.3K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of FaceCall's written reviews are positive against 18% of Palphone's.
