# Time vs Honesmith Optics

The clearest difference is ads: Honesmith Optics at none against Time's shown. Honesmith Optics also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Honesmith Optics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time ships an update every 5 months, Honesmith Optics weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
