# GiftList vs Wished

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wished at 75% against GiftList's 30%. Wished also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.1). GiftList's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 2.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GiftList holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GiftList has 297 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of GiftList's written reviews are positive against 75% of Wished's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GiftList ships an update every 2 weeks, Wished every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
