# ShareChat vs Ellipses

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ellipses at none against ShareChat's 10. Ellipses also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs monthly). ShareChat's advantage is chart position (#80 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShareChat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Ellipses asks for nothing beyond the download.

ShareChat ships an update monthly, Ellipses daily. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
