# Circle Parental Controls App vs Gryphon Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Circle Parental Controls App at 4.2 against Gryphon Connect's 2.9. Circle Parental Controls App also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 557) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Gryphon Connect's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (34% vs 10%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Circle Parental Controls App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Gryphon Connect sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Circle Parental Controls App holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Circle Parental Controls App has 13K ratings behind it against 557, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Circle Parental Controls App's written reviews are positive against 34% of Gryphon Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Circle Parental Controls App ships an update every 6 weeks, Gryphon Connect every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
