# Mydas vs PENTACAM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PENTACAM at none against Mydas's 11. PENTACAM also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). Mydas's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mydas sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. PENTACAM asks for nothing beyond the download.

PENTACAM holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 134 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Mydas's written reviews are positive against 87% of PENTACAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mydas ships an update fortnightly, PENTACAM monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
