# Mydas vs Politicca

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Politicca at none against Mydas's 10. Politicca also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Mydas's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mydas sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Politicca asks for nothing beyond the download.

Politicca holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mydas has 45 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Mydas ships an update fortnightly, Politicca every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
