# Xtream TV vs IPTV Player

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Player at 4.5 against Xtream TV's 2.0. IPTV Player also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 6). Xtream TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Xtream TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 20 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Xtream TV's written reviews are positive against 0% of IPTV Player's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
