# Flash Access vs FindMy Disk

The clearest difference is update cadence: FindMy Disk at every 2 months against Flash Access's every 4 months. FindMy Disk also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flash Access ships an update every 4 months, FindMy Disk every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
