# GX vs VS GPS PRO

The clearest difference is rating: GX at 3.7 against VS GPS PRO's 2.1. VS GPS PRO's advantage is ratings volume (102 vs 3) and review sentiment (18% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GX holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VS GPS PRO has 102 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of GX's written reviews are positive against 18% of VS GPS PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GX ships an update every 2 months, VS GPS PRO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
