# GX vs KYUFO

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GX at none against KYUFO's 3. GX also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). KYUFO's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (128 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KYUFO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. GX asks for nothing beyond the download.

GX holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KYUFO has 128 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of GX's written reviews are positive against 5% of KYUFO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GX ships an update every 2 months, KYUFO every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
