# FLIXY vs Flix4u

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flix4u at every 10 days against FLIXY's every 10 months. FLIXY's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FLIXY ships an update every 10 months, Flix4u every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
