Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Face Draw at none against Drawize's shown. Face Draw also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 5 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Drawize's advantage is ratings volume (236 vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Drawize holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawize has 236 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Drawize's written reviews are positive against 86% of Face Draw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Drawize ships an update every 5 weeks, Face Draw daily. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
