# TriplePlay Connect vs Jamstik Control

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Jamstik Control at none against TriplePlay Connect's 5. Jamstik Control also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (40% vs 30%). TriplePlay Connect's advantage is ratings volume (239 vs 12) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TriplePlay Connect sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Jamstik Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

TriplePlay Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TriplePlay Connect has 239 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of TriplePlay Connect's written reviews are positive against 40% of Jamstik Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TriplePlay Connect ships an update every 4 months, Jamstik Control monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
