# Toon FX vs Magic FX

The clearest difference is rating: Magic FX at 4.4 against Toon FX's 3.3. Magic FX also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 7). Toon FX's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 18%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Toon FX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Magic FX sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic FX holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic FX has 3.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Toon FX's written reviews are positive against 18% of Magic FX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
