# Eedi vs MyDCG

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eedi at every 3 months against MyDCG's every 55 months. Eedi also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.3.0). MyDCG's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eedi ships an update every 3 months, MyDCG every 55 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
