# SmartFind Express vs MPBC

The clearest difference is rating: MPBC at 5.0 against SmartFind Express's 4.5. SmartFind Express's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MPBC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartFind Express has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SmartFind Express ships an update every 4 weeks, MPBC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
