# Unofficial Map for RDR2 vs RDR2 Guide

The clearest difference is rating: Unofficial Map for RDR2 at 4.7 against RDR2 Guide's 4.0. Unofficial Map for RDR2 also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 25) and iOS requirement (13 vs 17.0). RDR2 Guide's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unofficial Map for RDR2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. RDR2 Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

Unofficial Map for RDR2 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unofficial Map for RDR2 has 7.7K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Unofficial Map for RDR2's written reviews are positive against 80% of RDR2 Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
