# Dekala vs PetTech

The clearest difference is rating: Dekala at 4.4 against PetTech's 2.4. Dekala also leads on ratings volume (400 vs 61). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dekala holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dekala has 400 ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Dekala's written reviews are positive against 31% of PetTech's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dekala ships an update every 9 months, PetTech every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
