# ELOQUII vs Sugarlips

The clearest difference is rating: Sugarlips at 5.0 against ELOQUII's 3.9. Sugarlips also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ELOQUII's advantage is ratings volume (564 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sugarlips holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ELOQUII has 564 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ELOQUII ships an update fortnightly, Sugarlips every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
