# BT control vs BAANOOL IOT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BT control at 56% against BAANOOL IOT's 8%. BT control also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). BAANOOL IOT's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (35 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BAANOOL IOT holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BAANOOL IOT has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of BT control's written reviews are positive against 8% of BAANOOL IOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BT control ships an update every 3 weeks, BAANOOL IOT every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
