# Rentique vs Nuuly

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rentique at free against Nuuly's subscription. Rentique also leads on review sentiment (76% vs 66%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). Nuuly's advantage is ratings volume (31K vs 3) and chart position (#201 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rentique against 4.9 for Nuuly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nuuly has 31K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Rentique's written reviews are positive against 66% of Nuuly's.

Rentique ships an update every 2 weeks, Nuuly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
