# Go Slice vs Slime Labs 3

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Slime Labs 3 at none against Go Slice's 6. Go Slice's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (5K vs 37). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Slice sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Slime Labs 3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Go Slice holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Slice has 5K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Go Slice's written reviews are positive against 59% of Slime Labs 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Go Slice ships an update weekly, Slime Labs 3 every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
