# Pegasus vs Swipe Guru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pegasus at 100% against Swipe Guru's 12%. Pegasus also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). Swipe Guru's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swipe Guru sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Pegasus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swipe Guru holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swipe Guru has 668 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Pegasus's written reviews are positive against 12% of Swipe Guru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pegasus ships an update every 3 months, Swipe Guru fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
