# YouMind vs BigPaper

The clearest difference is rating: YouMind at 4.5 against BigPaper's 4.0. YouMind also leads on review sentiment (48% vs 27%) and ratings volume (111 vs 20). BigPaper's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YouMind sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and BigPaper sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YouMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouMind has 111 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of YouMind's written reviews are positive against 27% of BigPaper's.

YouMind ships an update every 2 weeks, BigPaper every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
