# Distressed FX vs Light Panel Pro

The clearest difference is price: Light Panel Pro at $4.99 against Distressed FX's $19.99. Light Panel Pro also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 72%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Distressed FX's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 68). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Distressed FX costs $19.99 and Light Panel Pro $4.99 up front. Distressed FX sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Light Panel Pro sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Distressed FX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Distressed FX has 1.2K ratings behind it against 68, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Distressed FX's written reviews are positive against 85% of Light Panel Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Distressed FX ships an update every 3 months, Light Panel Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
