# Distressed FX vs Bimostitch

The clearest difference is price: Bimostitch at $7.99 against Distressed FX's $19.99. Bimostitch also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). Distressed FX's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 33). On ads, monetization model, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Distressed FX costs $19.99 and Bimostitch $7.99 up front. Distressed FX sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Bimostitch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Distressed FX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Distressed FX has 1.2K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Distressed FX's written reviews are positive against 83% of Bimostitch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Distressed FX ships an update every 3 months, Bimostitch every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
