# YPT vs Notes+

YPT and Notes+ both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of Notes+'s written reviews are positive against 56% of YPT's. YPT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Notes+ sells 35 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for YPT against 4.7 for Notes+. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.7K and 3.2K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 56% of YPT's written reviews are positive against 76% of Notes+'s.
