# YPT vs Noon Edu

The clearest difference is update cadence: YPT at every 2 days against Noon Edu's every 3 weeks. YPT also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Noon Edu's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Noon Edu sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noon Edu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YPT has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

YPT ships an update every 2 days, Noon Edu every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
