# YPT vs Exam Maker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: YPT at 1.8K against Exam Maker's 1. Exam Maker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Exam Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Exam Maker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YPT has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
