# YPT vs Stackd

The clearest difference is update cadence: YPT at every 2 days against Stackd's fortnightly. YPT also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Stackd sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YPT ships an update every 2 days, Stackd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
