# YPT vs StudyRank

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StudyRank at 100% against YPT's 56%. StudyRank also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). YPT's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YPT sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and StudyRank sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudyRank holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YPT has 1.7K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of YPT's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudyRank's.

YPT ships an update every 2 days, StudyRank every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
