# Car vs Chrysler

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Car at 67% against Chrysler's 17%. Car also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Chrysler's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (6.4K vs 10). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chrysler holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chrysler has 6.4K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Car's written reviews are positive against 17% of Chrysler's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Car ships an update every 2 months, Chrysler monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
