# IM Connect vs Visi Messenger

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Visi Messenger at 100% against IM Connect's 57%. Visi Messenger also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15) and update cadence (daily vs every 9 days). IM Connect's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IM Connect sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Visi Messenger asks for nothing beyond the download.

IM Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of IM Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of Visi Messenger's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IM Connect ships an update every 9 days, Visi Messenger daily. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
