# 雷哥GRE vs 新东方托福Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: 雷哥GRE at free against 新东方托福Pro's free with in-app purchases. 雷哥GRE also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). 新东方托福Pro's advantage is ratings volume (104 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 雷哥GRE sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 新东方托福Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for 雷哥GRE against 4.5 for 新东方托福Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 新东方托福Pro has 104 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of 雷哥GRE's written reviews are positive against 86% of 新东方托福Pro's.

雷哥GRE ships an update every 3 weeks, 新东方托福Pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
